Blue Max Patriot 27-Ton Horizontal Gas Log Splitter

I received the splitter in a timely manner, but without knowing that it would be sent in a 48' truck, I was unable to have it delivered to my house, the lane leading to it was too small for the truck to maneuver. He deposited it a the foot of my lane and then I discovered that one of the tires was flat. My wife and I have to support the tire on a flatbed cart, and drag it to the house.

After starting it, the ram moved quickly and with wonderful power, but there is a hydrolic leak under the control lever that I can not stop with tightening. Personally, I think that the control is in a bad position that encouraged a leak at that joint.

LSD RESPONDS: Please contact the folks at Blue Max toll free, at 800-348-5004 to troubleshoot the leak. Many times there is a bleed valve that is closed for transport, but needs to be opened before use. Please also let them know if you were not able to get the tire inflated so it can be repaired or replaced.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the flat tire. If you click on the Free Freight icon on our web page it explains that anything that weighs more than 100 pounds has to ship by semi-truck. That also should have been explained when the Freight Carrier called you to set up a delivery time.
