Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies
BOLINGBROOK, IL (September 08, 2011) - Power Equipment Direct earned recognition as one of the nation's fastest growing private companies in the United States for the fifth consecutive year by Inc. Magazine.

The online power equipment retailer ranked 1,418 on the recently released 2011 Inc. 5,000 list. It also ranked as the 50th fastest growing company in the Chicago-land metropolitan area.

The online power equipment retailer sales skyrocketed by 199% between 2007 and 2010.

Methodology: The 2011 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2007 through 2010. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2010.
