Q: Mike, I would like to have a 4 way wedge to fit on my Ramsplitter. It is a 36" splitter on a bobcat and the splitter wedge is on the bottom of the splitter. Which one will fit my splitter? by Lowell from Pennsylvania on April 12, 2011
A: If the wedge is on the cylinder, than you would need a skid steer upside down wedge. You most likely have the 30 ton version. It is an entirely different wedge that would have to be bolted on. You would take off his existing wedge and put this one on in its place. We don't carry this style of splitter, you would have to go through RamSplitter 1-877-967-1965. by Mike, Product Expert
We realize these 4-way wedges aren't for everybody. This bad boy, for instance, weighs in at 35 pounds. That's a lot to lift on and off the splitting beam, and doesn't make much sense for occasional use.
But, we figure someone with a large log splitter, splitting a lot of wood, would really appreciate a simple way to work smarter instead of harder!
