I bought mine 2 years ago, and although it splits wood fine and has a fast cycle time the return shaft does not have fingers to knock off logs that do not split and you need to have a maul to beat them off.
They said fingers were not installed for liability reasons, but it is sure a pain to have to carry a maul to beat off logs that will not split. They never stopped by to examine my machine as promised, either.
