If you own a skid steer (also known as a Bobcat or loader) you already know it's a versatile tool. What you may not realize is just how versatile it really is.

Just hook this unit up to the Universal Mount Plate on your loader and attach the hydraulic quick connects. Motor on over to a pile of logs, set the unit to a comfortable height, and start splitting.

The big 5" cylinder handles logs up to 26" long; much longer than freestanding splitters.

What set this model into the "Good" slot was having to get out of the loader and lift the logs onto the beam. Check out our "Better" and "Best" picks for real labor saving options.
