All Brackets Either Broke Or Bent. Too Light Steel.
Plenty of power, starts and runs well. A bolt holding the bracket that pushes stuck logs on the splitting wedge, broke on the first log. The log guide, the log platform, and the wedge return dislodge all bent.
Far too light of material. All must be replaced with heavier steel. Protection for the hydraulic reservoir cap and protection for the engine must also be fabricated.
Cons:Low Quality, Durability, brackets far too light
Wayne Does Not Recommend This Product
The 60 ton unit is very powerful and the area behind the ram and the log extractor should always be clear of obstructions during ram retraction to prevent damage to the machine and promote safety. The quad log extractor is manufactured from 1/4 inch thick steel with continuous welded 3/8 inch reinforcements. We are pleased to hear during ram deployment you have plenty of splitting power for the large logs you are working.
